HappyGreen supplier privacy statement

This statement explains how Happygreen (ABN 24 096 213 434) ("HappyGreen", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares the information you give us in this supplier application. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Your business details (business name, ABN, website, addresses, phone and email), contact details for your main and invoice contacts (names, job titles, email addresses and phone numbers), information about your brand and products, any files you upload such as logos and catalogues, and a record of this acknowledgement, including the name and position of the person submitting it and the date and time.
Why we collect it
To assess your application; to set up and manage your supplier account if it's approved; to contact you about your application, orders, deliveries, invoices and payments; to promote and sell your products to our retail customers; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. If you don't provide the required information, we may not be able to assess your application.
Who we share it with
Our staff who need it for their work, and service providers who help us run our business, such as our business management and email systems, warehouse and logistics partners, and our accountants and auditors. Brand and product information (not personal contact details) may be shared with our retail customers to promote and sell your products. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law. We do not sell your information.
Where it's stored and how we protect it
Your information is stored in our cloud-based business management system (Odoo) and our email system. Some of our service providers may store information on servers outside Australia. We restrict access to authorised staff and take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
How long we keep it
If you become a supplier, we keep your information while we trade with you and for 7 years afterwards to meet our record-keeping obligations. If your application is unsuccessful, we may keep it for up to 2 years in case a future opportunity arises, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.
